New figure sculpture

Here is a new figure i am working on. So far i have got the basic structure and need to work on the face. I also attended another figure drawing session this past tuesday and will add pics soon. Feel free to critique. Thanks

Demon Elf Sculpture

Here is the finished bust of my demon elf character. I just made a two piece silicone mold for him and am working on casting him in resin.

Figure drawing class

I have been trying to do some figure drawing sessions whenever possible. On tuesday night i attended another three hour session and this first sculpt is what i created. Its not too bad for only a few hours. The second sculpt is a new character bust i am working on.

In todays world its amazing how many artists are out there and how many have such amazing work. With searching the internet we are connected to people all over the world. Yesterday i was looking at conceptart.org and noticed another amazing artist that really inspired me to do my best. He doesn't have a blog or website i could find, but i did find an ablum on myspace.

New sculptures

This is a stylized skull from my sketchbook that i decided to make into a wall plaque.

Here is the current image i am working on. I am trying to work on making more illustrations rather than just doing character designs. This is just a work in progress at the moment, i am still deciding on what to do with the background.








Here is the wolf bust i am also working on. It has been a while since i posted on this, but i just finished a little more on this sculpt which i will post soon. I have made a silicone mold of the ears and i am finishing the mold for the teeth at the moment. After i finish it i will cast the ears and teeth in resin and post the progress. Another idea i have for this piece is to angle the neck more and cut the back off so it will look more like a trophy head for a wall mount. Tell me what you think.
