The lady of the sea is an airbrush painting on canvas. I started this one off with a flat gray background and worked in the shadows with different layers of grays and black. Then i went in with the exacto knife to scratch in the highlights.
This painting was done starting with a brown base then painted with shadows and inked with a brush.
