As I sit here alone in the dark I feel lost and uninspired.
My mind has taken off to run around in other places, I can’t get a hold of it. I sit here trying to find myself, trying to find my purpose. Then just as
this happens I see a light start to glow. A small candle light that grows into
a search lamp. So very bright that I have trouble seeing the shape of what it
could be. I can even feel the warmth from the light and as I start to accept it
and feel comfortable the forms start to come into view. I try not to focus on
the physical but how I feel. I see a smile and happiness, but it is surrounded
by pain and sadness. So much that it could swallow it up. But this light shines
without any issues or doubts. This special light is holding the darkness back,
keeping it at bay. No matter how many tubes or feelings of pain a pretty smile
and a contagious giggle still emerges. A ruthless fighter unwilling to give up
or give in.
I
just stand here trying to understand as I am washed over with happiness. My
mind really tries to understand and learn but it is beyond the realm of reason.
I believe this light is here for a reason and I was able to discover her in a
time and place where I needed her. When I was longing for a purpose that is larger
than myself. There are so many things that happen all around us every day but
to really make an impact you have to discover that purpose and cause that
brightens up your day and really touches your soul.
Thank
you so much for your fighting spirit and your beautiful smile that can take on
all the sadness in the world. No matter what comes your way you will stand
fearless and ready to take on the world. Me along with thousands of others will stand here praying and having your back when you need us the most.

Why are you hiding your beauty instead of sharing it with the world?
We are all human beings down here. That which by definition we come created with flaws. Certain quirks or habits that are specially unique to us and make each of us different. These are the crystals that shine and make us stand out in a crowd, making each of s one of a kind. You are your own person and you were given some amazing qualities and gifts to use too better yourself and the world around you. Only you can do what you do.
Now with those great powers you were also given a set of trials that could be be your kryptonite if you let it. These I believe are really misunderstood as weights bring you down and drowning you instead of obstacles. Obstacles that you must face and overcome, little challenges or tests that bring out a tool or emotion that you never knew existed and helps to move you forward in life. Overcoming these obstacles gives you more tools to really live life and to truly explore who you are.
So keep pushing forward and keep fighting for you.
Find the Beauty in your Scars and Flaws!

Or are you just drifting through life? Like a leaf in a river, you can be here and stay afloat but the flow of the water determines your movement. The forces outside of your control are pushing you in a specific direction and you do not have the tools or strength to fight it. (Now you will also want to surround yourself with a community or "river" that pushes you in the direction you want to go.)
Dig Deeper, down to your core there is something that is moved by an issue or idea. Try to find that spark that makes you come alive. You may have a big strong one or you may have a few little fires. Pick these up and nurture them. Hold them close and let them grow for these are precious gems that give your life purpose. And from this purpose you will be motivated, inspired, energized.... YOU will be ALIVE and you will be read to do that thing that your passionate about and lights you up.
For me I am inspired by seeing others reaching their potential and fighting for their goals. I like to be surrounded by other creatives that are Doing! With that I am very interested in being part of that movement and being an icon that can help to motivate and inspire others to live their lives with purpose. I want to make art that makes and impact and have a presence that inspires.
Now with that mentioned I am also very interested in helping others in need. One of the hardest things to learn and really embrace was that we cant save the entire world and we shouldn't try to. However we can make a difference, even the smallest donation or show of love can mean the world to someone. The key is to get connected to something that really means something to you. You will make more of an impact when you really believe in a cause as opposed to sending a couple bucks to every other charity you see. I have a soft spot for children and I am touched by seeing those in hospitals and those suffering really breaks my heart. So for this deep feeling I have as well I am motivated to try harder and be my very best so I can make an impact on those families that I am able to support.
Please don't take this as a push to support a specific cause or to follow what I believe. I really want you to look deep down and be aware of your own feelings and what moves your heart. What gets you excited and really pumped to go out there and do?

For me I define success as living your own dreams. Living a full life according to your own personal passions. A life that is not dictated or swayed by the ways of the world, or the forces of the government, or the influence of society. Each of us is our very own person so why should we stand in line and pretend to be a clone? Our gifts and differences are here so that we can stand out and share it with the world.
Success is connecting with yourself and living the life you were meant to.

Understanding your strengths and being aware of your weaknesses.
One of my current struggles is that I understand that doing more isn't a guarantee for more fruit, and I also know that sometimes its better to spend more time on a piece and refine. But the issue is I understand myself and I know what I am good at and what I enjoy the most. I am a concept artist, I like the building and pushing the forms. I also really enjoy the overall shape and expression, but once the character is figured out and there I get bored and don't want to keep refining and get into the fine details.
There are 2 types of character designers, I am the artist that can turn out hundreds of sketches and different characters but can rarely sketch the same one over again. Not the other artist that can take 1 character and draw it over and over refining it, testing the wardrobe doing different variations and making the character the best it can be and creating a deeper character.
I understand my strengths and sometimes I struggle with looking towards what others are doing but I hold onto tight about what it is that I like and enjoy and I am aware of what I do not enjoy.
The key is to be know your strengths and be aware of your weaknesses. Sometimes weaknesses are areas you may want to improve on but other times they are spots that lead you a stray and in a different direction your trying to go.

This is something that happens to me when I don't have my target and schedule for the day. I fall behind at times and get a little lost. Then I go into the studio with a long list of projects and ideas and spend forever trying to figure them out and what needs to get done.
I think we all fall off track sometimes, We just need to remember to get back up. Forgive yourself and move forward.
So give it a try and make a plan for yourself. That way when you go in to create you just produce and don't wast time thinking. Your productivity will go through the roof.

Do you believe you can be great? Do you think your brand can be a success?
How do you expect others to believe in you and see greatness when you don't even see it in yourself?
This is a topic i have seen in a few artists. It is also a topic that I saw in myself and struggled with for a while. A personal struggle that I was battling with and still to this day have trouble with at times. One piece is I have a very strong push that keeps me on the lookout and persistence to get better in my craft. Now its true you should always be growing and bettering yourself every day. But it becomes an issue when you cant look at your current step and be happy. Be proud of how far you have come instead of focusing on where you aren't.
Take a moment to look at your progress.
Take a moment, stop thinking of where you want to be and focus on how far you have come.
Be proud of your journey.
Be proud of your progress
Be proud of your persistence.
Think about all those roadblocks that got in your way and tried to slow you down and you stood tall and overcame each one.
Keep pushing forward and look deep within yourself. I believe in you and your journey to greatness.

Do you love the Dynamic they bring and the beauty and the beast concept that seems to appear? I am bringing them back to life in a new concept. Mixing in my own style i have already begun creating, but would like your help in supporting me to continue. What I am making here is continuing a set of wall sculptures cast in resin. Blank or painted and ready to hang. The hearts are approx. 12" x 12"
As a Bonus i will be recording and doing some demonstrations on the entire process so you will be able to come along for the ride. (I have a few videos of the ones already created but you will get to see behind the scenes to ALL of them)
So for your help and support you will be able to choose between these pieces I create. The Frankie and Bride piece as well as Creature and Kay have been created already. The Morticia and Gomez is in the works, and the ones I plan to create in this project are as follows - Freddy and Nancy, Myers and Laurie, Jason and Mommy, Wolfman and Gwen.
For a Couple of Stretch goals If I am able to reach $1200 I am also interested in Creating Chucky and Bride as well as Herman and Lilly Munster.

Are you feeling burnt out? Are you getting overwhelmed?
Maybe you need a moment for yourself. Some quiet time to gather your thoughts or even better to just forget about them. I try to make it a habit to give myself 15-20 minutes of quiet time before i start into my studio time. I just lay back and meditate. I try to forget about the troubles of the world and he struggles of life. I don't think about anything, i just let my mind wander as far as it can. My thoughts take off to the clouds and i am at peace.
Seriously though. This practice really does help. For me i let my thoughts go and just focus on my breathing. I close my eyes and see nothing bu blackness. As i relax i will begin to create images like stars or flying through the clouds but i am call. I get relaxed and then my focus projects come in=to my mind and i start to get excited. My heart starts pumping faster and it almost jumps out of my chest. Then the timers goes off and i am pumper, Energized and ready to go.
Give it a try and see what works for you. Take some time for you and give yourself a TIME OUT!
